Fall Day Off Field Trips
Get ready for a day of fun and games! Join us for action-packed days off of school field trips! Participants can be dropped off at the Northfield Community Center between 8:30 and 8:45am. Northfield Park District staff will oversee some free and organized activity time before we load up the buses for each trip! All participants need to bring a packed lunch for each trip, unless otherwise noted by PD staff. Pick-up at the Community Center is from 2:45 to 3pm.
SkyZone (Vernon Hills) - September 21, 2026
We're heading to Sky Zone – Vernon Hills for a high-energy field trip filled with trampolines, foam pits, and obstacle courses. Please make sure to pack a snack, a sack lunch, and a a water bottle. This field trip does require a waiver to be completed.

Safari Land (Villa Park) - October 22, 2026
We are taking a trip to Safari Land. A day filled with unlimited arcade games, tilt-a- whirl, bumper cars, and an indoor roller coaster. Cheese pizza will be served for lunch. Please pack a snack and water bottle and sack lunch (if your child does like/eats cheese pizza).

Lava Island (Kildeer) - November 2, 2026
The floor is lava! We are taking a field trip to the spectacular Lava Island Kildeer! Your kids will spend the day running, climbing, jumping into foam pits, and conquering the giant volcano slide. Cheese pizza will be served for lunch. Please pack a snack and water bottle and sack lunch (if your child does like/eats cheese pizza). This field trip does require a wavier to be completed.

Enchanted Castle (Lombard) - November 3, 2026
A fun filled day full of arcade games, indoor go-karts, laser tag, bumper cars, amusement rides, glow-in-the-dark miniature golf. Please make sure to pack a snack, a sack lunch, and a water bottle.
