2025 Summer Camp Counselor


The Northfield Park District is seeking qualified, enthusiastic, energetic, fun, and motivated individuals to join our 2025 Summer Camp Staff as Camp Counselors. All Counselor positions are during the summer of 2025 and are part-time.

As a Camp Counselor you are responsible for leading participants in a variety of recreational activities appropriate for children 3 years old through 8th grade. This includes snack/lunch, arts & crafts, and indoor/outdoor games. Other daily responsibilities include communicating with parents during drop-off/pick-up, supervising safely, and supporting leadership staff with activity planning.

Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old and available to work Monday-Friday from 6/9/25 through 8/8/25. Experience working with children is preferred. 

  • Applicants ages 14 and 15 years old may be given the opportunity to apply should the Park District be unable to staff the summer camp programs with those 16 years and older. All 14- and 15-year-old applicants will need to secure a work permit is those extenuating circumstances arise.

Hours: 8:30am-3pm, Monday-Friday. 6/9/25-8/8/25.

Salary: $15+/hour DOQ.
