2020 Summer Camp Counselor
Update: We are currently conducting our interviews with potential camp counselor candidates and the hiring process will be fully completed by Wednesday, March 18, 2020. The Northfield Park District is seeking qualified, enthusiastic, energetic, fun, and motivated individuals to join our 2020 Summer Camp Staff as Camp Counselors. All Counselor positions are during the summer of 2020 and are part-time.
As a Camp Counselor you are responsible for leading participants in a variety of recreational activities appropriate for children 3 years old through 8th grade. This includes snack/lunch, arts & crafts and indoor and outdoor games. Other daily responsibilities include communicating with parents during drop-off and pick-up, supervising safety and supporting leadership staff with activity planning.
Qualifications: Must be at least 15 years old and be available to work Monday-Friday from 6/15/20 through 8/14/20. Experience working with children is preferred.
Hours: 8:30am-3pm, Monday-Friday, 6/15/20 – 8/14/20.
Pay Range: $10/hour+. DOQ.
