Science Made Fun STEAM Club with High Touch High Tech - Mondays

Science Made Fun STEAM Club - Join High Touch High Tech Chicagoland's REAL Scientist for an exciting after school science adventure. Each day we meet we will cover new topics in STEAM. Everything we do will be entirely hands-on and will include a take-home experiment at the end of each day. So, get ready to be inspired, have fun exploring, and engage in the wonderful world of steam with us! *Includes Lab Coats and Goggles during class

Elementary Drawing with Young Rembrandts - Mondays

Back-to-school season is bursting with creativity at YR! During this session, students will explore a fascinating world of characters, patterns, texture and vibrant color. Appetites don’t stand a chance against the realistic Pizza drawing our students will create as they focus on proportion, detail, and shading techniques. Our adorable Baby Sloth will help students practice expression and character design, while our art history portrait of Hiawatha introduces cultural appreciation and portrait composition just in time to celebrate the fall season. Each lesson blends imagination with strong art fundamentals. All this and more await your child in a Young Rembrandts class-room—sign up today! We teach ALL NEW LESSONS every session. COOLinary Cooking Club with Sticky Fingers - Tuesdays

It's THYME to TURNIP the BEET on what kids EAT! Our interactive classes make cooking fun and deliciously educational. Kids will enjoy tasty, healthy recipes while learning S.T.E.A.M., culture, language, and geography. Led by experienced Chef Instructors, we ensure all allergies are accommodated, and recipes are always nut-free. Explore our weekly recipes and join us to WHIP up some culinary fun all year. Perfect for children of all ages!

Little Mermaid Jr! with Skyline Studios

Journey "Under the Sea" for The Little Mermaid Jr. with young mermaid Ariel who longs to leave her father King Triton’s underwater kingdom and live in the human world above. When she strikes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs, she quickly realizes the bargain is not what it seems. Ariel must enlist the help of friends Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to win the heart of Prince Eric and discover where she truly belongs!

Expectations

Please help your child practice and memorize at home so your actor feels confident on stage. Please be prompt in arrival and dismissal times. All rehearsals are closed (no parents or guests watching). Actors are required to bring their scripts to every rehearsal. There will be no refunds after the first week of classes.

BROADWAY JUNIORS

Skyline's Broadway Juniors is an encouraging introductory musical theatre experience designed for actors grades K-2nd. Sing, dance, act, and embark on an unforgettable journey to bring the magic of a popular musical to life onstage.

Guided by a professional teaching artist, Juniors receive a named role, participate in every scene and song, and gain the courage to perform in front of a live audience. Juniors actors enhance their reading skills as they memorize and recite their lines while bringing their characters to life.

Families will receive detailed instructions on how to assemble an original costume, adding the perfect finishing touch to the show. Join Skyline's Broadway Juniors, where imaginations soar, and young actors develop a passion for performing arts.

BROADWAY STARS

Skyline's Broadway Stars is a no-cut program designed for actors in 2nd-6th grade. Sing, dance, act, and embark on an unforgettable journey to bring the magic of a popular musical to life onstage. Guided by a professional teaching artist, Stars level up by singing solos, developing character, and learning fundamental musical theatre choreography. From the moment auditions kick off on the first day, Stars feel the rush of anticipation as they showcase their talents. Every actor who participates is assigned a named role and receives a script and rehearsal materials.

Families will receive detailed instructions on how to assemble an original costume, adding the perfect finishing touch to the show. The stage is set, and the spotlight awaits.

Hip-Hop with Chicago Loves Dance - Wednesdays

Under the creative direction of skilled Chicago Loves Dance instructors, students will learn choreography to the newest pop/dance songs, show off their creativity in free-style choreography sessions, and more. Chicago Loves Dance runs on the philosophy that dance should open your child’s creative abilities and be FUN! We pride ourselves on teaching the self-esteem and socialization needed in everyday life through the activity of dance and performance. The last day of the class will be a parent watch day where they will perform a short performance to show off their new talents.

Fashion Sewing with Ciao Bella Sewing - Wednesdays

Join Ciao Bella Sewing for a fun and creative sewing class. Students will combine machine sewing and hand sewing to create a variety of one-of-a-kind handmade sewing projects. Students will learn how to pin, cut, and stitch fabric. All supplies, including fabric, thread, needles, pins, and sewing machines, are provided. New projects for each session.

Amazing Art - Thursdays

Get ready for a colorful, hands-on arts and crafts adventure. In this class, young artists will explore a mix of exciting projects, from painting vibrant canvases with acrylics to creating stunning recycled art, delicate watercolors, and hand-painted plaques or figurines. Every session brings fresh new projects, so creativity never stops. Kids will learn fun techniques, experiment with different materials, and take home their masterpieces to proudly display. A great way to build confidence and artistic skills!
