Science Made Fun STEAM Club with High Touch High Tech - Mondays

Science Made Fun STEAM Club - Join High Touch High Tech Chicagoland's REAL Scientist for an exciting after school science adventure. Each day we meet we will cover new topics in STEAM. Everything we do will be entirely hands-on and will include a take-home experiment at the end of each day. So, get ready to be inspired, have fun exploring, and engage in the wonderful world of steam with us! *Includes Lab Coats and Goggles during class

Elementary Drawing with Young Rembrandts - Mondays

Start the New Year with creativity and fun! Students will explore exciting step-by-step drawing lessons featuring Groovy Giraffes, a detailed Scorpion, and a delicious Ice Cream Sundae, along with inspiring Art History lessons celebrating influential Black women, including Claudette Colvin. With a brand-new lesson in every class, children will build drawing skills, confidence, creativity, and attention to detail while creating artwork, they’ll be proud to take home. All supplies are provided!

*Registering for this section of Young Rembrandts (2309-1) enrolls you in the CLASS ONLY, which begins at 4:30pm. Children enrolled in section 2309-1 will NOT be picked up by Park District staff from Middlefork School at 3pm.

Lego Adventure with Right Brain Curriculum - Tuesdays

Calling all LEGO builders! In this creative, hands-on class, students tackle a new weekly building challenge from skyscrapers and bridges to zoos, airports, and more. Along the way, Right Brain Curriculum instructors introduce the real-world ideas behind what students are building, including architecture, engineering, and design concepts drawn from history and everyday life. With access to a huge assortment of LEGO bricks, students will design, build, and refine their own original creations while developing problem-solving skills and imagination. Each session encourages creativity, collaboration, and pride in finished work, with time to showcase and document completed models. Learning and LEGO building come together in this engaging adventure.

Trolls Jr! with Skyline Studios

Get ready to enter the colorful world of the Trolls, where there is always a song to sing, a reason to celebrate, and a show to put on! Poppy, Branch, Satin, Chenille, and the rest of the Trolls are preparing their show for Trollstice with King Gristle and Bridget. When word arrives that the opinionated Princess Marie Bergenette is coming to town, the pressure is on to create a performance spectacular enough to impress her. With the Trolls potentially back on Chef’s menu, the Trolls team must learn to trust one another, think on their feet, and “Go With The Flow” to keep their show and Trollstice on track!

Expectations

Please help your child practice and memorize at home so your actor feels confident on stage. Please be prompt in arrival and dismissal times. All rehearsals are closed (no parents or guests watching). Actors are required to bring their scripts to every rehearsal. There will be no refunds after the first week of classes.

BROADWAY JUNIORS

Skyline's Broadway Juniors is an encouraging introductory musical theatre experience designed for actors grades K-2nd. Sing, dance, act, and embark on an unforgettable journey to bring the magic of a popular musical to life onstage.

Guided by a professional teaching artist, Juniors receive a named role, participate in every scene and song, and gain the courage to perform in front of a live audience. Juniors actors enhance their reading skills as they memorize and recite their lines while bringing their characters to life.

Families will receive detailed instructions on how to assemble an original costume, adding the perfect finishing touch to the show. Join Skyline's Broadway Juniors, where imaginations soar, and young actors develop a passion for performing arts.

Skyline's Broadway Stars is a no-cut program designed for actors in 2nd-6th grade. Sing, dance, act, and embark on an unforgettable journey to bring the magic of a popular musical to life onstage. Guided by a professional teaching artist, Stars level up by singing solos, developing character, and learning fundamental musical theatre choreography. From the moment auditions kick off on the first day, Stars feel the rush of anticipation as they showcase their talents. Every actor who participates is assigned a named role and receives a script and rehearsal materials.

Families will receive detailed instructions on how to assemble an original costume, adding the perfect finishing touch to the show. The stage is set, and the spotlight awaits.

COOLinary Cooking Club with Sticky Fingers Cooking - Wednesdays

It's THYME to TURNIP the BEET on what kids EAT! Our interactive classes make cooking fun and deliciously educational. Kids will enjoy tasty, healthy recipes while learning S.T.E.A.M., culture, language, and geography. Led by experienced Chef Instructors, we ensure all allergies are accommodated, and recipes are always nut-free. Explore our weekly recipes and join us to WHIP up some culinary fun all year. Perfect for children of all ages!

Hip-Hop with Chicago Loves Dance - Wednesdays

Under the creative direction of skilled Chicago Loves Dance instructors, students will learn choreography to the newest pop/dance songs, show off their creativity in free-style choreography sessions, and more. Chicago Loves Dance runs on the philosophy that dance should open your child’s creative abilities and be FUN! We pride ourselves on teaching the self-esteem and socialization needed in everyday life through the activity of dance and performance. The last day of the class will be a parent watch day where they will perform a short performance to show off their new talents.

Fashion Sewing with Ciao Bella Sewing - Wednesdays

Join Ciao Bella Sewing for a fun and creative sewing class. Students will combine machine sewing and hand sewing to create a variety of one-of-a-kind handmade sewing projects. Students will learn how to pin, cut, and stitch fabric. All supplies, including fabric, thread, needles, pins, and sewing machines, are provided. New projects for each session.

Amazing Art - Thursdays

Young artists will dive into a variety of exciting projects, from painting vibrant acrylic canvases to crafting stunning recycled art, delicate watercolors, and hand‑painted plaques or figurines. Each session offers fresh opportunities for creativity, with projects that keep the inspiration flowing. Along the way, kids will explore fun techniques, experiment with different materials, and bring home their masterpieces to proudly display. It’s a wonderful way to spark confidence and build artistic skills.

Introduction to Cheer with Chicago Loves Dance - Thursdays

Under the direction of Chicago Loves Dance instructors, students will learn cheers as well as poms choreography weekly in this upbeat class. They will learn 3-4 new cheers weekly, work on form, as well as add on to their poms dance routine. The last day of the class will be a parent watch day where they will do a short performance to show off their new talents.

RoboThink: Battle Robots - Fridays

Attention all warriors and engineers! Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled program, where you'll build and customize an impressive array of mechanical warriors. Each week, once your robot is battle ready, step into the arena and face off with other participants. Using gears, motors, axles and our top-secret hardware, victory will be within your grasp!
